Job summary

VINHOOD is seeking a curious Junior Business Data Analyst to join the Data & Sensory team in Milan. You will turn client needs into analytical questions, design data collection with sensory experts, and analyze taste data to generate business insights.

You will develop dashboards and present findings to clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in data/business analysis, a Master’s in a quantitative field, and strong SQL/Python skills, plus English and Italian proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science).
• 2–4 years of working experience in data or business analysis.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to handle imperfect data.
• Solid foundations in statistics and mathematics; experience with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Turn client requests into analytical questions and plan data work.
• Design data collection with sensory experts and structure responses.
• Analyze survey and taste test data to identify patterns and insights.
• Link product performance to taste clusters for client decisions.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for internal and client use.
• Present results clearly to varied audiences.
• Work daily with Google Sheets, SQL, Python, BI dashboards, and AI tools.
