RINA is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join its Genoa or Rome office within the Operating Engine Division. The role requires a technical background with up to 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Cyber Security.

You will identify security risks, analyze IT and network security documentation, and implement security measures, including system hardening. Travel within Italy and abroad may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of security aspects of principal Operating Systems.
• Adequate knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, CBC, ECB).
• Adequate knowledge of networking models and programming languages (Java, C/C++, C#, VB.Net, Python).
• Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills in Italian and English.
• Availability to travel within Italy and abroad.

Mansioni

• Identify security risks within organizations and complex systems.
• Analyse, draft and review IT and communications security documentation.
• Manage changes in document versions and system configurations.
• Design security measures and provide security posture improvements.
• Implement security measures including hardening of target systems.
• Support customers in cybersecurity activities.
• Possibly perform code/script development and network device configuration.
• Carry out VA/PT activities as needed.
