Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is seeking a junior tool design engineer to design and develop composite tooling for F1 car components. You will translate component designs into robust tooling strategies, collaborate with design engineers, and ensure tooling is manufacturable, durable and repeatable.

You will contribute to standardisation and work closely with Production and CAD/CAM teams to align tooling with manufacturing constraints.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Previous work or Formula SAE experience in tooling design for composites.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DFM and DFA principles for tooling.
• Proficiency with CAD design and manufacturing workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop composite tooling solutions (patterns, moulds, jigs, fixtures, lamination tools) for F1 components.
• Translate component design definitions into manufacturable tooling strategies with precision and repeatability.
• Collaborate with Composite and Mechanical Design Engineers to accelerate concept-to-release timelines.
• Act as technical owner of tooling design, ensuring manufacturability and lifecycle performance.
• Standardise tooling concepts and contribute to reducing rework and lead times.
• Coordinate with Production, CAD/CAM and Manufacturing to align tooling with processes and machines.
