McKinsey & Company in Milan seeks a capable researcher within the Client Capabilities Network to support consultants and clients by developing market insights and industry knowledge. Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering (biomedical, chemical) with strong academic record
• Post-graduate work experience valued; recent graduates with relevant internship experience considered
• Demonstrated research experience in academic or business settings
• Solid understanding of financial, economic and general business concepts and terminology
• Ability to work well in a team setting and across all levels within an organization
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced software knowledge (Alteryx, Tableau) is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Language skills to communicate complex ideas in English and Italian

Your Impact

You will support consultants and clients developing capabilities to gain insights to solve specific client business problems.

You will leverage your experience in market and economic research to be a thought-partner to teams and clients. You will prioritize research activities to have the most impact and will develop industry knowledge and expertise. You'll also collaborate with our global research team to share and build knowledge, best practices and relevant new ideas. You will develop knowledge and help support the continuous improvement of our knowledge assets, innovating firm knowledge and delivery through special projects, both with client teams and on a stand-alone basis.

You will be based in our Milan office as part of Milan Client Capabilities Network team. The Milan Client Capabilities Network is part of the geographic research and knowledge group with analysts covering the main sectors of activity for McKinsey in Italy. You will join our Pharma & Healthcare sector.

The Client Capabilities Network is a global network, which includes more than 7,000 research and knowledge professionals who work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge.
