Wood is recruiting for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our Life Sciences division in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.
The Automation Engineer will design automation systems, coordinate with engineering teams, and oversee supplier bids and FATs, with a focus on learning in a multinational environment. This permanent role offers hybrid working and development opportunities.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Availability to work on assignment at Clients’ sites or in Wood Life Sciences offices abroad is a mandatory requirement.
Mansioni
- Design the Automation Systems for the production Process, the HVAC and the building infrastructure.
- Work with the Process and Engineering Team to ensure that the Automation design is compliant with the Project needs and Client’s expectations.
- Keep budget and schedule under control.
- Coordinate the 3rd parties involved in the Automation design.
- Carry out the technical evaluation of Automation Suppliers’ and Contractors’ bids.
- Monitor the progress of the Automation Suppliers and Contractors and follow up their design.
- Take part in the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) of the Automation systems at Suppliers’ premises.
- Follow up Automation construction and start-up activities at Client’s site.
