Cameron Cole International in Milan is seeking a Junior Associate to join the Debt Capital Markets team. You will work closely with a Partner and advise leading financial institutions and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of debt capital markets and structured finance matters, with significant responsibility from an early stage and international client exposure.

Competenze

• Italian-qualified lawyer with 1–3 years' experience in debt capital markets.
• Experience in debt capital markets, banking & finance or related transactional work.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent command of Italian and English, written and spoken.
• Commercial approach and ability to work in international transactions.
• Ability to work in a demanding, collaborative and international environment.

We are looking for a talented Junior Associate Lawyer to join the Debt Capital Markets team of a leading international law firm in Milan, working closely with a highly experienced Partner and advising leading financial institutions and Italian and international corporates.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions, working alongside senior lawyers on complex, cross-border matters.

The role / The Junior Associate will be involved in:

• Debt capital markets transactions, including EMTN programmes and issuances, stand-alone bond transactions and retail offerings;
• Tender and exchange offers relating to debt securities;
• Preparation and review of regulatory and transactional documentation;
• Structured finance transactions and related legal matters;
• Financial regulatory and compliance issues arising in connection with capital markets transactions;

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a junior Italian-qualified lawyer, ideally with 1-3 years' experience gained within a recognised Italian or international law firm, with a genuine interest in Debt Capital Markets, Banking & Finance or Capital Markets.

The candidate should have:

• Excellent academic credentials;
• Some previous experience in debt capital markets, banking & finance or related transactional work;
• Strong drafting and analytical skills;
• Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken;
• A commercial approach and willingness to work on sophisticated, international transactions;
• The ability to work effectively in a demanding, collaborative and international environment.
