EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture is expanding its Florence studio and seeks Junior Architects to join a design-focused team. You will generate design ideas, develop schemes under senior guidance, and contribute to project delivery with 2D/3D drawings, models, and graphics that reflect land, sustainability, and cultural context.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong modeling, proficiency in SketchUp/AutoCAD/Photoshop, plus English and Italian communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative

• Valid working permit in Italy.
• A relevant professional degree in architecture.
• Strong design, 2D and 3D modeling skills.
• High proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Experience in Lumion, Rhino and Adobe Premiere is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Italian.
• Artistic talent and enthusiasm for architectural depiction.

• Strong time management and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel.

EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture is expanding its international presence with the opening of a new studio in Florence, a city where art, craftsmanship, and architectural heritage have long intertwined. Following its studio in Istanbul, the Florence office marks a new chapter in EAA’s ongoing dialogue between local context and global discourse. The new studio aims to engage with the rich architectural and cultural fabric of Italy, fostering collaborations that bridge contemporary practice with deep-rooted traditions of making and thinking about space.

Within this scope, EAA is seeking Junior Architects to join the Florence team, critical thinkers and talented designers who will contribute to the studio’s evolving design culture and its commitment to critical, contextually grounded architecture.

Job Description

• Generating architectural design ideas and schemes,
• Contributing to the development of a project under the guidance of Global Design Director and Team Leaders,
• Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities given by Global Design Director and Team Leaders regarding the project,
• Working within a project team with an active contribution through constructively critical ideas,
• Scheduling project related assignments and demands efficiently to remain faithful to deadlines, with regular interaction and direction from Project Leader,
• Participation in design improvement meetings within EAA,
• Preparation of project model, related 2D and 3D drawings,
• Preparation of graphics, texts and images that include analy s es of land conditions, land physical conditions, functional requirements, sustainability issues, historical, social and cultural layers of the area,
• Preparation of presentation files,
• Conducting intellectual research on the context of projects,
• Preparation of material toolbox.

Minimum Qualifications

• Having a valid working permit in Italy.
• A relevant professional degree in architecture,
• Strong design, 2D and 3D modeling skills,
• High level proficiency of Sketchup, Autocad, Adobe Photoshop,
• Experience in Lumion , Rhino and Adobe Premiere is a plus,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Italian
• Having an artistic talent, professional skill, and enthusiasm for architectural depiction,
• Having high level of graphical understanding and being an analytical thinker
• High level of precision at tasks,
• Working with minimal supervision, acting well individually and in teams, sharing information and supporting colleagues,Strong time management, good prioritization, team player,
• Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible,
• Having no restriction to travel.
