Job summary

NEXT-A in Rome is seeking a Designer/BIM Specialist to support architectural BIM projects using Revit and related tools. The candidate should have a degree in Architecture/Building Engineering and be able to apply technical documentation to build models and drawings.

The role requires strong CAD/BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite skills, plus excellent Office proficiency and willingness to travel within Italy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture/Engineering and registration with the relevant professional body.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM design (Revit).
• Strong graphics and digital layout skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite.
• Experience with drawing programs (Autodesk AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with BIM authoring programs (Revit).
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign.
• UNI 11337-7 BIM Specialist certification is not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural BIM models and drawings using Revit.

Position

We are looking for young professionals to join our team as Designer/BIM Specialist.

The ideal candidate is a young graduate in Architecture or Building Engineering with some experience in the role and/or a Master’s degree or specialisation courses, able to use BIM authoring software (specifically Autodesk Revit) to develop an architectural BIM project and to understand and apply the company’s technical and operational documentation in producing models and drawings.

IT skills

• Architectural design in CAD and BIM (Revit)

• Excellent knowledge of the OFFICE package
• Excellent knowledge of drawing programs (Autodesk - Autocad)
• Good knowledge of the BIM authoring programs (Autodesk – Revit)
• Excellent knowledge of digital typesetting and graphic programs (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, etc.)
• BIM Specialist certification under UNI 11337-7 is not required
