Domyn is seeking a Junior AI Research Engineer in Milan to shape the infrastructure that trains and serves trillion-parameter models. You will bridge research and production, touching every layer of the stack and contributing to open‑source projects that advance Europe’s AI ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, AI or related field.
• Up to 2 years of proven AI research experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern ML framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX).
• Familiar with distributed training concepts.
• Basic CUDA or compiler optimization understanding.
• Experience with ML debugging tools like TensorBoard and Weights & Biases; Nsight exposure.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ or Rust.
• Strong math background in deep learning (linear algebra, probability, optimization).
• Experience deploying models in production with latency, throughput, memory optimization.
