wpd windmanager in Rome seeks a Junior Accountant to support ongoing financial accounting and reporting under Italian GAAP. The role covers day-to-day accounting, liquidity planning, and collaboration with tax consultants, auditors, and stakeholders.

The candidate should have a degree in economics/finance with accounting focus, some accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent English. Flexible hours and partial home work are possible.

Competenze

• Ideally, you have a degree in (business) economics with a focus on finance/accounting or comparable training/qualification with further education/training as an accountant.
• First professional experience working as a financial accountant or in an auditing company is desirable.
• Good knowledge of accounting according to Italian GAAP.
• Sound knowledge and experience in MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, is one of your strengths - other language skills are also advantageous.

Mansioni

• Ongoing financial accounting according to Italian GAAP.
• Independent handling of accounting issues according to Italian GAAP.
• Controlling of current business operations (including target-actual comparison and liquidity planning).
• Payment preparations and transactions.
• Preparation of reporting for banks and investors.
• Close cooperation with the tax consultants for the preparation of annual financial statements according to Italian GAAP and IFRS and tax returns of corporations (corporate entity).
• Handling communication with clients, suppliers and public authorities.
