Job summary

Burger King Restaurants Italia is seeking a detail-oriented Finance/Controlling professional to support the Controlling department with data gathering, analysis, and reporting. You will help monitor performance and assist strategic decision-making in a dynamic retail environment.

The role requires a Finance/Economics degree, up to 1 year of related experience, strong Excel skills, and good English communication. Hybrid work arrangement and growth opportunities are offered.

• Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations and Marketing to improve data quality.
• Enhance reporting tools and dashboards for timely insights.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and cost-control initiatives.

About the Position

The person in this role In this role will support the Controlling department in monitoring financial performance, analyzing data, and preparing reports that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing process by collecting and validating data from multiple stores and departments
• Analyze operational expenses such as rent, occupancy and G&A.
• Prepare regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor store efficiency and profitability
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes at both store and corporate level
• Perform variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) and provide explanations for deviations
• Collaborate with HR, Operations and Marketing teams to gather insights and improve data quality
• Help improving existing reporting tools and dashboards to ensure timely and accurate information for management
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with cost control initiatives and margin optimization projects

What do you bring

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience in Finance, Controlling or a similar analytical environment is a plus.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills.
