Job summary

PRAXI seeks a Legal Counsel in Parma for a 12-month maternity cover. The role is full-time with a hybrid working arrangement, providing broad legal support across commercial contracts, governance, regulatory compliance and employment matters.

You will draft and negotiate agreements, guide corporate projects, manage external counsel, and ensure DLgs231, GDPR and compliance alignment in a highly technical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited Italian university.
• Italian Bar qualification.
• 9–12 years post-qualification experience in reputable law firms and/or multinational companies.
• Strong experience in commercial and corporate law.
• Excellent knowledge of Legislative Decree 231/2001, corporate governance, commercial contracts and compliance matters.
• Fluency in both Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across business operations including contracts, governance, regulatory compliance, litigation management, leasing and employment-related matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements."
• Deliver practical legal advice to facilitate sound business and commercial decision-making.
• Promote compliance with corporate policies, internal controls and contracting procedures.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with General Management, Human Resources, Finance and Operations.
• Support strategic projects, including corporate reorganizations, acquisitions and integrations.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates and governance practices.
• Support the implementation of ethical business practices and compliance initiatives
