Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in Italy is seeking an IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineer to own and evolve our local IT infrastructure, balancing legacy and modern platforms while driving improvements.

You will collaborate with the wider EU IT team as the local technical lead, manage servers, virtualization, networks, and security, and help migrate toward scalable, cloud-enabled solutions such as Azure.

Competenze

• Solid experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles.
• Comfortable working in complex, hybrid environments.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.
• Good level of English.

Mansioni

• Own and operate local infrastructure.
• Manage lifecycle of servers, virtualization platforms, network components, and security infrastructure.
• Work closely with a distributed EU IT team, ensuring local infrastructure aligns with central architecture and security standards.
• Act as local technical contact for infrastructure-related matters.
• Support and maintain a mixed infrastructure landscape including virtualization, Windows and Linux servers, networking, and firewall platforms.
