Job summary

This role emphasizes autonomy, analytical writing, and strong collaboration with regulatory bodies. Based in Italy, this Compliance Officer position offers a hybrid work model with regular interactions across business

Qualifications

• Significant experience (+5 years) in a Compliance position in a financial institution.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian banking regulations and payment ecosystem.
• Proactive problem solver with initiative.
• High autonomy and ability to take initiatives.
• Synthesis and analytical mindset with strong writing skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Managing Regulatory Changes: Stay ahead of and implement regulatory changes in Italy.
• Regulatory Submissions: Assist in submitting regulatory documents under AMLRO supervision.
• Escalation Point: Act as escalation point for investigations by Compliance Managers.
• Business Use Cases: Explore regulatory aspects of various business use cases.
• New Products and Services: Assess regulatory aspects of new products and services.
• Compliance Documentation: Maintain internal documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Regulatory Watch: Conduct regulatory watch on Italian banking supervision matters.
• Regulatory bodies: Serve as primary contact for Italian regulators (Banca d’Italia, UIF).
