Verbatim Pharma is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director for Italy to lead the growth agenda across the Italian pharma and life sciences market. You will hunt for new business, build strategic partnerships with pharma, biotech and CROs, and guide complex sales cycles from prospecting to close, while coordinating with operations and technical teams to tailor solutions.

• Develop and execute the Italian business development strategy
• Sell into pharma, biotech and CROs across Italy
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across Pharma & Biotech
• Develop and manage a strong commercial pipeline
• Lead complex sales processes from prospecting through to contract close
• Expand existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth
• Represent at industry events, conferences and customer meetings
• Partner with operational, commercial and technical teams to develop compelling solutions
• Maintain a strong understanding of the clinical supply chain, pharmaceutical logistics and competitive landscape
