Taylor Hopkinson is supporting an international IPP in the recruitment of a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale BESS projects across Italy. The role requires overseeing the full construction lifecycle, with travel to Southern Italy project sites, and ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

The successful candidate will lead execution from Notice to Proceed through commissioning, coordinate EPCs and suppliers, and monitor schedules, budgets, and HSE

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing the construction of utility-scale renewable energy or BESS projects.
• Strong experience with HV electrical infrastructure and grid connection activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction projects involving multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and construction best practices.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Southern Italy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

• Lead the execution of utility-scale BESS projects from Notice to Proceed through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and HSE performance, ensuring project objectives are achieved.
• Oversee site activities and conduct regular visits to construction sites to monitor progress and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Manage contractual obligations, project risks, and change orders throughout the construction phase.
• Ensure compliance with Italian regulations, grid connection requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, development, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support project commissioning, testing, energisation, and final project close-out.
