Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Italian Language Experts to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Italian content. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will shape how AI understands, generates, and teaches Italian, impacting millions of learners worldwide.

Work is fully remote with asynchronous scheduling, requiring a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Native or near-native Italian fluency and strong English writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication in English (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy and naturalness.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 to B2+.
• Identify learner errors, pedagogical gaps, and provide expert judgments.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic Italian.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
