The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Italy seeks an Italian language teacher to support the Digital Horizons program in Trieste. Based on-site, you will design and deliver Italian language classes (A2-B1-B2) and IT vocational language for refugee and migrant students, under supervision of the Economic Wellbeing Manager and ENAIP FVG staff.

You will create tailored materials, address diverse linguistic needs, monitor attendance and progress, and ensure inclusive learning.

Competenze

• Proven experience developing learning content and delivering Italian language group teaching.
• Experience working with migrant populations and/or youth is highly desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of IT sector is an asset.

Mansioni

• Plan, design, and deliver lessons in Italian at A2-B1–B2 level, integrating IT-related terminology and vocational language.
• Develop tailored teaching materials that combine general Italian with IT vocabulary and contexts.
• Address student questions and provide clarification on both general and IT-specific language content.
• Help develop students’ confidence and learning skills, encouraging Italian use in technical settings.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies to diverse linguistic needs.
