ABB E-mobility in San Giovanni Valdarno is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Engineer to own the site’s IT presence, spanning endpoints, infrastructure, networking, automation and executive support.
You will provide Tier 2/3 end-user support for Windows, macOS, and Linux; manage Intune and JAMF; ensure reliable video conferencing; and drive local IT projects with global teams.
ABB E-Mobility is building a standalone IT organization to support manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations across Europe and the US. We are looking for a hands‑on, highly versatile IT Systems Engineer who will act as the primary IT presence at our San Giovanni Valdarno site.
This is a broad, high-impact role for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and visibility. You will work across endpoints, infrastructure, networking, automation, and executive support, often in the same week. The role requires strong technical competence, excellent judgment, and the professionalism to operate confidently in executive-facing environments.
This role reports to the Head of IT Infrastructure.
The employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level between B2/B3 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 35.000.
The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender‑neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
The total compensation package also includes a variable bonus linked to individual and company targets.
