World Food Programme is seeking an IT Solution Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of IT solutions from Rome. You will guide off-site teams to build compliant, high-quality software aligned with WFP standards.

Education requires a university degree or 8+ years of relevant experience. The role involves Scrum mastery, backlog grooming, and collaboration with Product Managers to drive architecture decisions.

Competenze

• University degree or 8+ years of equivalent working experience in software development.
• Five years’ experience with software development and leading related projects.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies (Python, Django, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Git and branch management; knowledge of Scrum; knowledge of CI/CD.

Mansioni

• Design the software architecture and data model of IT solutions.
• Ensure high technical quality and compliance with WFP standards.
• Provide guidance to off-site development teams and manage backlog grooming.
• Prepare high-level effort estimations and support Product Manager.
