All European Careers in Milan seeks an IT Business Solution Manager to blend technical delivery, business analysis, and project support, translating business requirements into effective, maintainable, and compliant technical solutions. You will support both application and data initiatives with a focus on Microsoft technologies used across data integration, analytics, and reporting landscapes.

Candidates should be fluent in English and Italian, and be willing to work 2 days in the Milan office.

Competenze

For an international project in Milan, we are urgently looking for a IT Business Solution Manager. You will be expected to combine technical delivery capabilities, business analysis skills, and project support experience, with the objective of translating business requirements into effective, maintainable, and compliant technical solutions. You will support both application and data-related initiatives, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies used across the data integration, analytical, and reporting landscape, including Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI. The referenced architecture explicitly describes a layered solution including an integration layer, data warehouse layer, analytical layer, and presentation layer based on these technologies.

Candidates need to be willing to work 2 days in the Milan office. Work permit is not provided.

Candidates need to be fluent in English and Italian.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support Market IT in the analysis, delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of solutions;
• Work with business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and formalize requirements, and convert them into functional and technical implementation proposals;
• Support technical delivery across data integration, reporting, and business application domains;
• Contribute to project execution and coordination in accordance with policies, procedures, governance, and development standards;
• Development standards explicitly require consistency, governance, maintainability, security, scalability, and compliance with standard development patterns and controls;
• Provide support to the Italian and Greece market;
• Collaborate closely with Market business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL / integration solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and Azure Data Factory;
• Maintain and enhance Power BI data models / datasets, ensuring consistency, usability, and maintainability;
• Design and develop Power Apps solutions where required to support business processes;
• Support testing, troubleshooting, correction, enhancement, and controlled deployment activities;
• Produce or maintain functional and technical documentation;
• Support project execution and coordination in line with internal governance requirements;
• Support application portfolio maintenance through the use of the ServiceNow system;

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
• +5 years of working experience in complex organizations in IT/business solutions management, ideally in a consumer-facing systems/applications;
• Strong hands-on capability in the following technologies:

Microsoft SQL Server;

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);

Microsoft Azure Data Factory;

Visual Basic / C# Scripting and Development;

T-SQL, DAX, Power Query and Power BI Data Flows;

Power Apps development;

Power BI data model / dataset maintenance and development: Data source connection and dataset publishing, Data modelling in Power BI Desktop;

• Power BI report development (an asset but not required);
• Architecture including SQL Server Database, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Power BI, Power App and Power Automate as core technologies supporting the integration, warehouse, and presentation layers;
• Solid experience as an IT Business Analyst, including:

• Eliciting and documenting business requirements;
• Performing impact and gap analysis;
• Translating business needs into functional and technical solutions;
• Preparing clear and structured documentation;
• Working effectively with both IT and business stakeholders;
• Project Management for small and medium projects
• Knowledge of agile approaches in Development and Project Management ;
• Strong experience in data integration, business intelligence, and business application support/development;
• Proven delivery experience in business-facing IT environments
• Fluent in English and Italian;
