RINA is seeking an IT Business Partner (Salesforce) to join its Global IT Division in Genoa or Rome, Italy. You will ensure IT services align with business needs, manage demand, and coordinate with IT Security, Architecture and Procurement.

The role requires leading Salesforce-based projects across a multi-country environment, ensuring GDPR compliance, and delivering robust, secure IT solutions with clear documentation and user satisfaction.

Competenze

• 3–6 years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience in managing projects involving ERP or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Sales and Field Service Management).
• Proven experience owning or leading a Salesforce platform in a complex, multi-country environment.
• AI on the platform (Agentforce/Einstein) and Security-by-Design principles.
• Salesforce certifications strongly preferred; ITIL Foundation or other IT certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Italian at B2 level or higher.

RINA is currently recruiting for an IT Business Partner (Salesforce) to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the Global IT Division.

Mission

In this role, you will ensure that IT services effectively align with the organization’s business needs. You will be responsible for managing and prioritizing service and project demands, ensuring alignment with budget and IT architecture, and maintaining compliance with GDPR and IT security standards. Collaboration with various departments to design, develop, and seamlessly implement IT solutions will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities, ensuring top-notch service delivery and unparalleled user satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

• Demand Management:
• Collect, analyze, and prioritize service and project requests from business and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between demand, budget, and IT application architecture.
• Evaluate technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions, managing conflicts and critical issues.
• Impact Evaluation:
• Assess the impact of changes on applications, data, infrastructure, and end users.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations in collaboration with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
• Collaboration:
• Work with IT Cloud Infrastructure and IT Architecture teams to ensure application availability and performance.
• Coordinate with IT Security to ensure new applications meet Security by Design requirements.
• Engage with Procurement for tender operations when applicable.
• Project Management:
• Manage the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.
• Define work plans, resources, timelines, and costs for projects, monitoring progress and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with development and project teams to define technical specifications.
• Communication & Documentation:
• Manage communication and collaboration among internal and external project stakeholders.
• Draft technical documentation and progress reports.
• Provide training, assistance, and maintenance support for solutions.
• Maintenance & Support:
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of IT applications.
• Provide second and third-level support for application issues, managing service requests beyond IT Service Support’s scope.
• Ensure continuity of IT services by managing expectations, risks, and critical issues.
• Update documentation and operating procedures related to applications.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Computer Science

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience in managing one or more projects involving market-leading ERP or CRM platforms and vertical solutions (e.g., Salesforce Sales and Field Service Management).
• Proven experience owning or leading a Salesforce platform in a complex, multi-business or multi-country environment, coordinating one or more system integrators.
• AI on the platform (Agentforce/Einstein) and Security-by-Design principles.
• Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g. Administrator, Platform App Builder, Application/System Architect, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant); ITIL Foundation and/or other relevant IT certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Italian at B2 level or higher.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria, and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €55,000 and €65,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
