Job summary

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites applications for an Investigator based in Rome, Italy. Responsibilities

• Undertakes intake and assessment of incoming complaints/allegations, reviews information and decides if within OIG mandate or to be referred to another FAO office.
• Participates in planning, organizing and conducting investigations at headquarters or Decentralized Offices with interviews, document review, and evidence organization.
• Participates, under supervision, in complex investigation cases.
• Prepares and edits written outputs including investigative plans, interview records, and investigative reports.
• Contributes to lessons learned, proactive integrity reviews, and recommendations to prevent policy violations.
• Maintains liaison with FAO Divisions, Offices and Centers in the intake assessment context.
