Job summary

Inter IKEA Group is seeking an Inventory Planner in Italy to manage supplier-to-DC and DC-DC inbound availability for assigned products and markets. You will maintain accurate inventory, handle ERP corrections, and balance availability with food safety, freshness, and cost.

You will work closely with suppliers, service providers, distribution centres, and internal planning teams, using signals from orders, stock, forecasts, and lead times to drive clear inventory actions and ensure reliable

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems, order-management and planning tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for inventory analysis.
• Knowledge of inventory planning and stock management processes.
• Ability to translate signals from orders, stock, forecasts and lead times into actions.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier-to-DC and/or DC-DC inbound availability for assigned products, DCs and markets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and inbound flow execution, including orders, ERP corrections and physical-flow corrections.
• Act on daily inventory corrections, inbound order handling, flow bookings and deviations within agreed parameters.
• Balance availability, food safety, freshness, cost, sustainability and lead-time adherence when planning and following up the inbound flow.
• Secure supplier and logistics-service-provider execution through confirmations, holiday planning, inbound coordination and invoice follow-up.
• Manage deviations related to quality, blocked goods, shelf life, shortages and inventory accuracy with timely action and escalation.
• Improve ways of working together with suppliers, service providers, DC/LSP operations and internal stakeholders.
