DAB Pumps seeks an Inventory Planner to manage inventory across the supply chain, ensuring product availability while optimizing stock levels. You will support business and customer service objectives by monitoring networks and maintaining planning parameters.

You will collaborate with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Logistics and Sales to align forecast with supply. The role offers growth in a global, multicultural environment with international exposure and travel when required.

Competenze

  • Recent graduate or initial experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Planning.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
  • Interest in inventory management, planning and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data and numbers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and digital tools.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and proactive problem solving.

Mansioni

  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability across the network to support continuity and service targets.
  • Create and manage Planned Distribution Orders and replenishment activities.
  • Maintain planning parameters such as Safety Stock, MOQ, and local planning settings.
  • Support management of planning master data and item lifecycle across sites.
  • Manage and monitor the Shipping Plan and prioritize shipments.
  • Coordinate replenishment shipments to secondary warehouses and subsidiaries.
  • Track materials in transit and verify delivery timelines.
  • Monitor critical items and actions to prevent stock shortages and supply risks.
  • Analyze overdue orders and supply issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Production, Logistics, Local Sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory and supply chain KPIs and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory and planning processes.

Inventory Planner

An Inventory Planner is responsible for planning and controlling inventory across the supply chain, ensuring product availability while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting business and customer service objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability across the network to support business continuity and customer service targets.
  • Create and manage Planned Distribution Orders, ensuring accurate execution of inventory replenishment activities.
  • Maintain planning parameters such as Safety Stock, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), and local planning settings to support effective inventory management.
  • Support the management of planning master data and item lifecycle activities across different sites and subsidiaries.
  • Manage and monitor the Shipping Plan, helping ensure the correct prioritization of shipments across distribution flows.
  • Organize and coordinate replenishment shipments to secondary warehouses and subsidiaries, ensuring product availability, timely deliveries, and alignment with inventory targets.
  • Track materials in transit and support the verification of delivery timelines.
  • Monitor critical items and support actions to prevent stock shortages, service disruptions, and supply risks.
  • Assist in the analysis of overdue orders and supply issues, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions when required.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, Local Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and inventory objectives.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of inventory and supply chain KPIs, helping identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory management and supply chain planning processes.
Who You Are
  • Recently graduated or with initial experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Planning roles;
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field;
  • Interest in inventory management, supply planning, and end-to-end supply chain processes;
  • Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data and numbers;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and digital tools;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment;
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems;
  • Availability to travel when required;
  • Eager to learn, develop planning expertise, and grow within the Supply Chain organization.

Target Hiring Range

Total compensation package in the range between €34,000 and €44.000 gross per year.

DAB pay ranges for a job are based on the location specific market of similar jobs, according to third-parties salary benchmark surveys. Individual salary within that range, could vary for several reasons, including skills, capabilities, experience.
