Pirelli in Milan invites a talented Master’s student to join the Vehicle Dynamics team within the R&D Motorsport department. You will study tyre performance at the pinnacle of motorsport, gaining hands-on experience in vehicle dynamics, data analysis from races, tests and simulations, and contribute to real-world challenges.

You will collaborate with your tutor in the Tyre Performance Team, use virtual models and analysis tools, and help provide feedback to designers to improve racing tyres.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Strong data interpretation and analytical mindset.
• Experience with Matlab and Python; knowledge of software for lap time simulations or vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Tyre Performance Team on motorsport activities, including data analysis from race, test and simulations sessions, and indoor tyre measurements.
• Use virtual models and analysis tools to perform simulations and contribute to their development.
• Provide clear feedback to product designers to improve racing tyres.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engeneering or a related field.
• Analytical and curious mindset, with the ability to interpret data from vehicles and tyres, and to translate it into useful info for tyre development and understanding.
• Good usage of software like Matlab and Python, knowledge of software for lap time simulations or vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
