ABB on-site in Lombardy, Italy is seeking an Inventory Planner to lead end-to-end inventory planning within the Distribution Solutions Division. You will manage inventory parameters, create replenishment strategies, and coordinate with operations buyers to ensure seamless purchasing and fulfillment processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, strong Excel skills, SAP knowledge, and fluency in Italian and English.

You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.The work model for the role is: on site.This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division.You will be mainly accountable for:Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.Qualifications for the roleEducation: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Technical Skills: proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Knowledge of SAP is significant plus.Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.Soft Skills: A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.More about usJoin us.
