Mediobanca cerca un tirocinante per il team Financial Engineering AI nel Front Office. Il ruolo prevede lo sviluppo di soluzioni AI per i mercati finanziari, con attenzione a LLM, agenti AI e automazione dei workflow.

Il candidato collaborerà alla realizzazione di strumenti per knowledge management, market intelligence e analisi del codice, con esposizione a AI, finanza quantitativa e software engineering in un contesto bancario.

Posizione:

The candidate will join the Financial Engineering AI team within the Front Office area of Mediobanca. The internship will focus on the development of AI-powered solutions for financial markets, with particular emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, knowledge retrieval systems, and workflow automation. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of an AI platform supporting traders, structurers, sales teams and quantitative analysts. Activities will span from building AI agents and integrating LLMs into existing systems to developing tools for knowledge management, market intelligence, code analysis, and automation of financial workflows. The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Quantitative Finance and Software Engineering, gaining exposure to real-world applications of advanced AI technologies in an investment banking environment.

Requisiti:

General Requirements

• A college degree / master in STEM (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Data Science) fields is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and passion for Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Requirements

• Good programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with modern AI and Machine Learning concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, or Generative AI frameworks is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems (Git) is a plus.
• Interest in financial markets and quantitative finance is appreciated but not required.
• Good knowledge of English is required.
