Backroads is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Tuscany Hub in San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy. You will coordinate ground warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure seamless execution of the hub’s annual cycle, from season start to EOSM, while collaborating with European teams.

You will travel across major Italian regions and occasionally to European hubs, supporting field operations and maintaining organized, safe spaces. Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Operations experience in warehouse, logistics, facility or operational roles (2+ years).
• Hands-on, physical work and basic repairs.
• Practical, proactive problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Valid driver’s license; comfortable driving vans/trailers.
• Comfort with Excel and operational tools.

Mansioni

• Coordinate warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Execute Unit Load and EOSM activities across the hub.
• Maintain and improve facility spaces and safety.
• Lead or support seasonal staff and ensure consistent execution.
• Collaborate with planning, fleet, and European hubs on logistics.
• Provide on-site support in Italy and during peak periods (5–7 weeks/year).
