Amazon’s GES International Design & Construction team seeks a Mechanical & Electrical Services Technical Expert (MEP Manager) to define and improve MEP, HVAC, plumbing and BMS across Europe. The role links Construction, Preconstruction, Sustainability and Worldwide Building Design teams.

Based in Milan with 50% travel, it demands strong design, permitting and project management experience in a global context.

Competenze

Masters degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven permitting, design and engineering experience.
Strong project management skills across multiple sites.
Experience with simulation and 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems design.
Experience managing budgets and working with contractors.
Experience in cold-chain, refrigeration and temperature-controlled environments is a plus.
Preferred languages: French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese, Afrikaans, Zulu.

Mansioni

Review and improve Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, plumbing and BMS services.
Lead cost savings initiatives across projects.
Collect and synchronize feedback from developers, GCs and consultants.
Assist Preconstruction and Construction Managers during design reviews.
Dive into technical details and drive problem resolution when needed.
Collaborate across construction, preconstruction, sustainability and design teams.
