Arup Italy is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the Building Services team in designing electrical systems for iconic projects across Italy. You will assist in MV/LV design, perform calculations, prepare specifications and contribute to reports under close supervision.
You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, apply CAD/BIM and sustainability principles, participate in design reviews and site visits, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, hybrid Italian work environment.

The Building Services (MEP) team has been growing consistently in the last 3 years, working on iconic buildings in Italy and in Europe, on a diverse range of projects including Stadia, Luxury Hotels, Offices, Commercial, Healthcare, Science and Industry and Educational projects. This is your chance to gain hands‑on experience in the Building Services team working with experts in the field.
Assist in the design and delivery of electrical services (MV and LV), collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to technical analysis, computations, preparation of specifications, modelling, and reporting under close supervision, applying your academic knowledge to real‑world challenges.
Apply a variety of standards methods and techniques for solving problems.
Be accountable for delivering high quality work of which may take the form of drawings, reports, standard documentation, presentations, authority submissions etc, within the agreed timeframes.
Participate in site visits, design reviews and project workshops, gaining valuable industry exposure.
