Compass Lexecon in Milan seeks an Intern in the Competition Practice to support expert economic analysis on high-profile cases. You will work with senior staff, apply economic theory to client issues, and assist with data-driven evidence.

The role offers hands-on learning from day one, with opportunities to contribute to cases and develop skills in microeconomics, econometrics, and Excel/Stata analysis within a collaborative, international team.

Competenze

• Currently undertaking or recently completed Master’s or Ph.D. in economics with focus on microeconomics or econometrics.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Fluent English is required; Italian language skills are desirable.

Mansioni

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative client data to understand competition effects.
• Review literature and contribute to theoretical and empirical approaches.
• Conduct empirical analysis using Excel and Stata; draft reports.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls.
