Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or other scientific/technical disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian insurance market and regulatory framework (IVASS, IDD, COVIP).
• 7 years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Development or Project Management in insurance/bancassurance/wealth management.
• Experience with Life Insurance, Multi-Branch, Unit-Linked, Pension and/or Protection products.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new products, defining features and value proposition.
• Coordinate product launches and reviews with Insurance Companies and internal stakeholders.
• Gather and formalize requirements for application enhancements and regulatory updates.
• Maintain the existing product range and ensure regulatory, contractual and operational updates.
• Prepare product documentation for distribution networks.
• Monitor commercial performance and business trends.

The Insurance Products team at Banca Generali is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the Bank’s range of insurance products, including pension and protection solutions. The team oversees the entire product lifecycle, from design and commercial launch through ongoing maintenance and performance monitoring, working closely with insurance companies and various internal business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• More specifically, the successful candidate will be involved in the following activities:
• Support the development of new products, contributing to the definition of product features, customer value proposition and commercial positioning;
• Participate in product launch and offering review projects, coordinating interactions with Insurance Companies and relevant internal stakeholders;
• Gather and formalize business requirements and support the analysis, testing and implementation phases of application enhancements;
• Manage the maintenance of the existing product range, ensuring the necessary regulatory, contractual and operational updates;
• Contribute to the preparation of product documentation and materials for the distribution network;
• Monitor commercial performance and business trends.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or other scientific/technical disciplines;
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite;
• Good command of written and spoken English;
• Strong knowledge of the Italian insurance market, including the main life insurance and pension products, as well as the relevant regulatory framework (IVASS, IDD, COVIP and Product Oversight & Governance).
• 7 years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Development or Project Management roles within the insurance, bancassurance or wealth management industry;
• Proven experience in managing Life Insurance, Multi-Branch, Unit-Linked, Pension and/or Protection products.

What we offer

An employment contract is offered under the Italian Banking Collective Agreement (CCNL Credito) and Intermonte’s Company Benefits Regulation.

The starting gross annual salary is 50000. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
