Job summary

Generali in Lombardy seeks a driven professional to join the Business Transformation (BT) unit. You will support the execution of strategic initiatives, collaborate with multiple functions, and help manage the Group project portfolio to deliver on strategic priorities.

You will work with cross-functional teams, foster change, and drive initiatives forward with ownership and accountability, contributing to a safer and more sustainable future for Generali.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, economics, actuarial sciences, engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience, including internships.
• Previous exposure to the insurance industry preferred; consulting experience advantageous.

Job description

The Business Transformation (BT) unit is responsible of driving implementation of Group Strategy:

• Securing efficient and effective steering of the execution of the Strategic Plan
• Acting as high-profile business partner to facilitate the execution of key initiatives across the Group
• Leading the implementation of prioritized strategic projects
• Managing the Group Project portfolio to ensure cohesive and disciplined implementation
• Ensuring alignment on strategy implementation progress leading content for key to track and communicate strategic initiative progress

The position requires to:

• Support the execution of strategic initiatives, collaborating closely with business and functions stakeholders
• Manage project execution with discipline and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
• Ensure alignment between Group and BUs’ stakeholders, also partnering with Insurance/(AM) Division(s)
• Foster change management, collaborating with business owners to adapt approach to each specific context
• Be entrepreneurial in managing workstreams or projects independently

Deliver projects lead by the Unit:

• Manage the overall project workplan and ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables
• Support the development of strategic content in close collaboration with project contributors
• Conduct supporting analyses, working also with other teams within the Strategy and Business Transformation Unit
• Clearly communicate progress, insights, and results to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Business, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, including internships
• Previous exposure to, or a basic understanding of, the insurance industry is preferred
• Previous experience in consulting, including internships, is considered an advantage
• Experience contributing to projects as part of a team is considered an advantage
• Italian and English working proficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
• Proactive learner who thrives in dynamic environments and demonstrates intellectual curiosity, openness to feedback, and a continuous drive to improve and innovate
• Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams, building trust, fostering collaboration, and contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture

What we offer

We offer employment at the IV level in accordance with the CCNL ANIA and the Generali Group Company Agreement.

Starting gross annual salary of 36K€.
