Our Milano-based multinational client in the design and supply of chemical plants is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join the project teams. You will develop instrument data sheets, specification of regulation valves, process, pneumatic and electrical installation typicals, and prepare Instrument, I/O, Cable lists and MTO for bulk materials.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering, 5–7 years in engineering environments, good English, knowledge of instrument typologies and AutoCAD.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of experience in engineering companies.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of instrument and actuated valves typologies.
• Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
• Autonomous and a team player.

Mansioni

• Develop instrument data sheets and regulation valves; prepare instrument, I/O, cable lists and MTO of bulk materials.
• Purchase requests and technical alignment of vendor offers for instrumentation.
• Follow-up of package vendors; review of instrumentation documentation.
• Monitor and control deliverables from external engineering companies for detailed engineering (JB wiring, cable layout, cable list, MTO).
• Test and inspect instrumentation at vendor premises.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to Sales for commercial offers.

INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER – CHEMICAL PLANTS

Key responsibilities:

• Basic and detailed instrumentation engineering such as: development of instrument data sheets and regulation valves, development of process, pneumatic and electrical installation typicals for instrumentation, preparing Instrument, I/O, Cable lists and MTO of bulk materials;
• Purchase requests and technical alignment of vendor offers for specific instrumentation;
• Follow-up of Package Vendors, Instrument vendors documentation;
• Continuous monitoring and control of deliverables produced by external engineering companies for detailed engineering (JB wiring, cable layout, cable list, MTO, etc.);
• Testing and inspection of instrumentation at vendor premises;
• Participation in technical meetings with customers and suppliers;
• Technical support to the Sales Department for the preparation of commercial offers.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering;
• 5/7 years of specific experience in engineering companies;
• Good English (written and spoken);
• Good knowledge of the main instrument and actuated valves typologies;
• Knowledge of the main IT tools (MS Office), Autocad;
• Availability to travel abroad;
• Autonomy and team player.
