Mindmatch is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer for chemical plants to join a multinational client headquartered near Milan, offering smart working options.

You will develop instrument data sheets, regulation valves specs, I/O and cable lists, coordinate with vendors, monitor detailed engineering deliverables, perform testing, attend technical meetings, and provide technical support to the Sales Department for commercial offers. Some travel abroad is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in engineering companies.
• Good English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of main instrument and actuated valves typologies.
• MS Office and Autocad knowledge.

Mansioni

• Develop instrument data sheets and regulation valves; create process, pneumatic and electrical installation typicals for instrumentation; prepare Instrument, I/O, Cable lists and MTO of bulk materials.
• Coordinate with vendors for instrument purchase requests and technical alignment.
• Follow-up of Package Vendors and instrument vendors documentation.
• Monitor and control deliverables from external engineering companies for detailed engineering (JB wiring, cable layout, cable list, MTO).
• Testing and inspection of instrumentation at vendor premises.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to Sales for commercial offers.

Our customer is a multinational company specialized on design and supply of chemical plants headquartered in Milan.

INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER – CHEMICAL PLANTS

Key responsibilities:

• Basic and detailed instrumentation engineering such as: development of instrument data sheets and regulation valves, development of process, pneumatic and electrical installation typicals for instrumentation, preparing Instrument, I/O, Cable lists and MTO of bulk materials;
• Purchase requests and technical alignment of vendor offers for specific instrumentation;
• Follow-up of Package Vendors, Instrument vendors documentation;
• Continuous monitoring and control of deliverables produced by external engineering companies for detailed engineering (JB wiring, cable layout, cable list, MTO, etc.);
• Testing and inspection of instrumentation at vendor premises;
• Participation in technical meetings with customers and suppliers;
• Technical support to the Sales Department for the preparation of commercial offers.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering;
• 5/7 years of specific experience in engineering companies;
• Good English (written and spoken);
• Good knowledge of the main instrument and actuated valves typologies;
• Knowledge of the main IT tools (MS Office), Autocad;
• Availability to travel abroad;
