Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Legal Specialist - Government Affairs to support Italy-wide institutional relations and government engagements. The role collaborates with internal teams and external government entities to advance company interests and ensure favorable operating conditions.

You will monitor legislative developments, coordinate advocacy activities, and travel across Italy and Europe. A law/economics/IR/PS degree and fluency in English and Italian are required, with strong communication

• Relevant experience in government, or working public policy issues for another company, trade association or a government affairs firm.
• Strong ability to understand and effectively communicate industrial and energy policy and good communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Availability to travel in Italy and Europe.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly.
• Client service attitude with focus on client care and quick, efficient responsiveness and with strong interpersonal awareness.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and develop strong internal and external relationships.

Partner with the best The Institutional Affairs Team is part of the Presidency of Nuovo Pignone, reporting to the President, and it operates across all the Italian sites of Baker Hughes (based in several different regions, from North to South). The Institutional Affairs Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and executing institutional affairs strategies to advance Baker Hughes interests with Italian national and local governments and Italian gov representatives at the EU level. The role collaborates extensively with the business functions internally and represents the company in interactions with external stakeholders and institutions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000 The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
