Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Laborer II for our Telecom Underground team. You will perform skilled tasks in underground construction, operate advanced equipment, and help ensure project safety and efficiency.

You will load and deliver materials, install and maintain underground telecom cable, document daily progress, and assist with site restoration. A High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of equipment experience are required; OT and weekend work may be necessary.

Competenze

• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment or performing similar tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours.

• Operate and inspect construction equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Perform highly skilled construction tasks such as loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects

What You’ll Need

• At least 18 years of age
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks
• Strong ability to work independently and contribute in team environments
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level. Operate vehicles and heavy machinery. Perform tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
