NVIDIA in Italy (Rome) seeks a Senior HPC Engineer to join the Professional Services team. You will deploy, manage and optimize the Infiniband Network for AI Factory infrastructure, collaborating with customers and internal teams on planning, implementation and support for large-scale AI projects.

You will engage in knowledge transfer, documentation, and feedback loops, ensuring robust networking in Linux environments with a customer-focused, high-performance mindset and excellent English

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/EE.
• 5+ years providing in-depth support or deployment services of Infiniband networks.
• Applied knowledge in Infiniband Network troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior HPC Engineer to join its Professional Services team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are using NVIDIA products to revolutionize deep learning and data analytics, and to power data centers. Join the team building many of the largest and fastest AI Factory systems in the world! NVIDIA is looking for someone with the ability to work on a dynamic customer focused team that requires excellent interpersonal skills. This role will be interacting with customers, partners and internal teams, to analyse, define and implement large scale AI Factory projects. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of Networking, System Design and Automation and being the face to the customer.

What You Will Be Doing

• Primary responsibilities will include deploying, managing and maintaining the Infiniband Network of AI Factory infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers.
• Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.
• Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers as they begin rolling out some of the most sophisticated systems in the world!
• Provide feedback into internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.

What We Need To See

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years providing in-depth support or deployment services of Infiniband networks.
• Applied knowledge in Infiniband Network troubleshooting.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and deliver resolutions for customer-blocking issues as they arise, to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

• Experience with Ethernet networking(configuring and troubleshooting).

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. We are considering the following: Italy: The base salary range is 50,250 - 87,100 EUR for level 3, and 66,000 – 114,400 EUR for level 4
