NVIDIA ITALY S.R.L. is seeking a Senior HPC Engineer to join its Professional Services team in Italy. You will work on deploying, managing, and maintaining the Infiniband Network of AI Factory infrastructure in Linux environments for new and existing customers.

The role requires 5+ years of Infiniband experience, strong English, and the ability to coordinate with customers, partners, and internal teams. Occasional travel may be needed. Base salary is location-based in Italy.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years deploying or supporting Infiniband networks.
• Applied knowledge of Infiniband network troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior HPC Engineer to join its Professional Services team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are using NVIDIA products to revolutionize deep learning and data analytics, and to power data centers. Join the team building many of the largest and fastest AI Factory systems in the world! NVIDIA is looking for someone with the ability to work on a dynamic customer focused team that requires excellent interpersonal skills. This role will be interacting with customers, partners and internal teams, to analyse, define and implement large scale AI Factory projects. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of Networking, System Design and Automation and being the face to the customer.

What you will be doing:

• Primary responsibilities will include deploying, managing and maintaining the Infiniband Network of AI Factory infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers.

• Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.

• Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers as they begin rolling out some of the most sophisticated systems in the world!

• Provide feedback into internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years providing in-depth support or deployment services of Infiniband networks.

• Applied knowledge in Infiniband Network troubleshooting.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and deliver resolutions for customer-blocking issues as they arise, to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written English.

Ways to stand out from crowd:

• Infiniband Network certifications.

• Experience with Ethernet networking(configuring and troubleshooting).

• Linux background.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. We are considering the following: Italy: The base salary range 50,250 - 87,100 EUR for level 3, and 66,000 - 114,400 EUR for level 4
