Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader delivering productivity, sustainability, and agility for manufacturers. We are seeking an Industrialization Engineer to support new product introduction and collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize product manufacturability.

You will work on PCB assembly, DFMA, Lean Six Sigma, and SAP-based processes, contributing to cost estimates and prototype activities, with a focus on high-density designs and advanced PCB techniques.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (minimum Technical High School).
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional experience in electronics or related field.
• Understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Knowledge of DFMA and Lean Six Sigma tools/methods.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Mansioni

• Support the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility per RA CPD processes.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering for manufacturability of product and process design.
• Develop and document processes, estimate manufacturing cost, initiate prototype/pilot activities.
• Handle issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of factors.
• May lead small project teams within or external to Industrialization group.
• Understand PCB assembly and manufacturing constraints.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing and design for compliance for PCBs.
• Proficient in IPC-A-610 and soldering processes.
• Knowledge of coatings, underfill, and manufacturing test.
• Experience with high density designs, through-hole and surface mount technologies, board stackup, pad designs, and design rules.
