Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to maintain and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-efficient production. You will report to the Industrial Engineer Manager and be based at the Monfalcone site.

Key responsibilities include defining processes, conducting time studies, monitoring KPIs, leading Lean initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and production planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Industrial/Process Engineer in metal manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cycles and processes.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (min B2).

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, routings, and standards.
• Perform time studies and production analyses to set labor standards and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to boost productivity, quality, and cost.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across production activities.

About the role:

The primary function for the Industrial Engineer is to maintain and improve manufacturing processes to ensure safe, high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production activities.

You will report to the Industrial Engineer Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, routings, and production standards;
• Perform time studies and production analyses to establish labor standards and improve operational efficiency;
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance;
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects across production activities;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, resource use, and production planning;
• Develop manufacturing documentation, ensuring process consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Technical High school or Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline;
• 2+ years experience as Industrial/Process Engineer in structured metal manufacturing environments;
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP;
• Knowledge of manufacturing cycles;
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B2 level).
