Job summary

Greif is seeking Electrician Technicians at Levels 1–4 to join our maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment, with PLCs, drives, and motor controls forming the core of daily tasks.

This on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate of 37.58–44.98 USD, with opportunities for growth across four skill levels and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

FOUR SKILL LEVELS - ONE GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

Electrician Technician I - Electrical Troubleshooter

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs with supervision.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical components and equipment issues.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Connect to common plant PLCs and demonstrate basic programming knowledge.

Electrician Technician II - Independent Electrical Specialist

• Independently diagnose and repair common electrical problems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, and equipment.
• Read electrical prints and replace faulty components.
• Connect to PLCs and drives and program operating parameters.

Electrician Technician III - Advanced Controls Technician

• Diagnose complex electrical and controls-related issues.
• Connect to and program most plant PLC systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across industrial equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other electricians.

Electrician Technician IV - Master Electrical Expert

• Serve as the go-to expert for advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve major equipment breakdowns.
• Connect to, troubleshoot, and program all plant PLC systems.
• Lead complex electrical repairs and provide high-level technical support.

Compensation Range:

The pay for this position is $37.58 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
