Vactor Mfg. Inc. is seeking a hands-on Hazardous Waste Handler to prep, maintain and monitor waste operations. You will operate cranes and hoists, manage accumulation points, and ensure safe handling of materials in a heavy industrial setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hand power tools preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead crane and related equipment.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to relocate not offered.

Mansioni

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting including cleaning, filling, blasting and sanding.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Overtime commitment when needed.
• Handle hazardous waste: know, add/remove, and transfer to accumulation points.
• Respond to spills or fires involving hazardous waste under management guidance.
• Sign manifests if authorized and inspect accumulation areas.
• Operate at central accumulation points and manage lifting tasks.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of hazardous waste.
