Arkema is seeking a Chemical Operator in Piemonte to execute production tasks from material staging to packaging. The role uses both manual and automated controls, analyzing results to keep products within specification.

You will support batch operations, record-keeping, and cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment. The position requires English communication, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work rotating shifts, with forklift experience beneficial.

Chemical Operator

This position performs all tasks associated with the production of product from material staging, operation of equipment, in-process testing, and packaging. This position utilizes both manual and automated systems along with analytical results to monitor and adjust the process, as needed, to produce a consistent, in specification product.

This position performs all tasks associated with the production of product from material staging, operation of equipment, in-process testing, and packaging. This position utilizes both manual and automated systems along with analytical results to monitor and adjust the process, as needed, to produce a consistent, in specification product.

Job Responsibilities

Daily Operations (70 %)

• Perform raw material staging for batches.
• Operate production vessels, including batch reactors and blenders
• Use automated and manual process controls to adjust process parameters
• Package finished products in drums and IBCs

Complete batch sheets, logbooks and other records neatly and accurately.

• Sample batches and perform in-process Quality Control testing.
• Perform other duties or training as required or requested.

Additional Duties and Functions (30 %)

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by performing minor maintenance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment and process issues.
• Complete required safety training.

Qualifications And Experience

• Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of chemical environment experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, or other hours as required.
• Experience in forklift operation.
• Ability to perform physical essentials (climb stairs and/or ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, wear FRC uniforms, wear full face respirator occasionally)
