Megatron Sensors in Campania, Italy seeks a senior Product Manager (not a Project Manager) to lead product strategy, vision and development from concept to launch.

You will own the portfolio P&L, define use cases, pricing, roadmaps, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Design and Engineering to deliver customer-driven innovations in temperature/humidity sensors for industrial applications.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create data-backed propositions.
• Proven experience in product management, strategy, and development.
• Experience in Manufacturing, HVAC-R, industrial sensor applications.
• Fluent Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above).

Mansioni

• Develop and implement comprehensive product and portfolio strategies and plans.
• Update management on product positioning, release planning, and stakeholder management.
• Create a compelling product vision and communicate it to internal and external audiences.
• Represent the product at conferences, to customers, the press, and industry analysts if needed.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies and tactics.
• Perform cost analysis and set and communicate price levels.
• Decide on future directions and priorities for the product portfolio.
• Publish and maintain roadmaps for launches and lifecycle management.
• Drive the innovation stage by prioritising ideas from customer insights and trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate ideas that deliver value.
• Gain deep understanding of customer needs and validate product concepts.
• Define use cases and evaluate trade-offs with designer and production.
• Understand market opportunities and develop business cases for investments.
• Manage the product development process and prototypes.
• Ensure all PM, design, and engineering tasks meet QA standards.
• Ensure products meet business and customer requirements.
• Manage internal roll-out of products and system updates.
• Oversee trials and negotiate with partners and suppliers with product marketing.
• Identify and execute plans to optimise product costs.
• Define strategies to reduce costs and stop-sell actions if needed.
• Provide 3rd-level technical support to marketing and sales.
• Design testing procedures for QA of finished products.
