Air Liquide Italy is seeking a skilled engineer to lead instrumentation and automation design for industrial production projects. You will estimate budgets, manage procurement, and develop robust technical documentation while ensuring safety and reliability across sites.

You will oversee external design work, conduct audits, and train internal teams on sizing and costing tools, with readiness to travel within Italy and Europe. A strong command of English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Degree in electronic engineering, automation engineering, or related electronic technician diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience in electricity and instrumentation within an industrial primary production environment.
• Technical knowledge of industrial plant engineering, including control systems, analyzers, instrumentation, control valves, and safety valves.
• Knowledge of European and local technical standards.

Mansioni

• Identify and develop preliminary and detailed instrumentation/automation solutions following company standards.
• Estimate project budgets, prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier offers, and support procurement with POs and inspections.
• Create technical data sheets, specifications, and bid evaluations; participate in risk assessments for safety and reliability.
• Supervise external engineering design for quality, budget, and deadlines; perform technical audits on suppliers and installations.
• Assist site supervisors with technical issue resolution during construction and deliver internal training on sizing/costing tools.
