Job summary

Agorai is seeking an AI researcher to join the Innovation Hub in Trieste. You will work with the AI Architect andHead of Technology, collaborating with external engineering partners to advance multi-agent and swarm intelligence for industrial automation.

The role emphasizes integration between research and real systems, designing experiments, and interfacing with robotic infrastructure. Production-quality code and strong collaboration with engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in CS/AI/Engineering or related STEM field.
3–5 years of experience in multi-agent or autonomous systems.
3–5 years of experience with simulation tools and methodologies.
Experience integrating AI with physical infrastructure or robotics.

Responsibilities

Research and prototype multi-agent approaches for industrial automation.
Build intelligence layer interfacing with physical systems and robotic infrastructure.
Design rigorous experiments validating system-level behavior.
Integrate AI systems with external engineering stacks across boundaries.
Define evaluation frameworks for collective/adaptive behavior.
Stay current with swarm intelligence and autonomous systems research.
