Job summary

Haier Europe is seeking a proactive procurement intern to support day-to-day activities across multiple categories. You will assist in RFQ processes, supplier scouting, and preliminary evaluations while collaborating with the legal team on contract management and PO issuance through the ERP system.

You will help identify and onboard new suppliers, analyze purchasing data, and prepare KPI reports. Strong MS Office skills and fluency in English and Italian are required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree program in Engineering, Economics or similar fields.
• Available to start soon for a full-time internship.
• Fluent in both English and Italian (minimum B2).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day procurement activities across multiple categories.
• Assist in RFQ processes, supplier scouting, offers collection and evaluation.
• Assist contract management with the legal team and issue purchase orders via ERP.
• Contribute to onboarding of new suppliers to expand the supplier base.
• Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports to monitor spending and KPIs.
• Maintain procurement documentation including contracts and supplier records.

What you will do

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Team, the intern will support day-to-day procurement activities across multiple categories, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the definition and implementation of procurement strategies aimed at optimizing cost and quality;
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure timely and effective purchasing support;
• Assisting in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication, offer collection and preliminary evaluation;
• Supporting contract management activities in collaboration with the legal department and assisting with purchase order issuance through the company ERP system;
• Contributing to the identification and onboarding of new suppliers to expand and strengthen the supplier base;
• Assisting in the analysis of purchasing data and preparation of reports to monitor spending and key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Maintaining and organizing procurement documentation, including contracts, offers, and supplier records.

Who we are looking for

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Economics or similar fields;

• Fluent in both English and Italian (minimum B2 level);
