STIGA, a leading European lawnmower and garden equipment manufacturer, invites a recent graduate for a 6-month internship at its Castelfranco Veneto HQ. You will be embedded in the logistics area and participate in projects to improve inbound and overall logistics flows.

You'll track KPIs, support dock scheduling, map material flows with Lean tools, and assist the inbound team with SAP WM and data entry, leveraging MS Office to drive efficiency in a multinational environment.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Office tools.
• Working proficiency in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• KPI Tracking: Track and analyze receiving KPIs to identify areas of improvement and drive efficiency in inbound logistics operations.
• Project Management Support: Participate in a new dock scheduling project, enabling suppliers to book unloading slots to optimize inbound warehouse capacity and handling times.
• Process Mapping: Analyze and map material flows using Lean tools to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Operational support: Assist the inbound team with day-to-day operations, handling receiving and shipping documents, and ensuring accurate data entry in SAP WM.

STIGA is a leading European manufacturer and distributor of lawnmowers and power garden equipment, with over 90 years of experience in the market We are consistently curious, conscious of trends, inspiring, and visionary – just like our customers. We are looking for a recent graduate to be placed within the production plant in the logistics area for a 6-month internship in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto! The intern will be included in the scope of some projects related to the improvement of logistics flows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• KPI Tracking: Track and analyze receiving KPIs to identify areas of improvement and drive efficiency in inbound logistics operations.
• Project Management Support: Participate in a new dock scheduling project, enabling suppliers to book unloading slots to optimize inbound warehouse capacity and handling times, optimizing warehouse space and lead times.
• Process Mapping: Analyze and map material flows using Lean tools (such as spaghetti charts, flow matrices, and chrono studies) to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Operational support : Assist the inbound team with day-to-day operations, handling receiving and shipping documents, and ensuring accurate data entry in the company's management system (SAP WM).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially MS Excel) is recommended
• Working proficiency in Italian and English is requested
